put in(1)
2×1/4 + 3b=1

the points must satisfy the equation ax+by=1 then in point (2,3) ,x=2,y=3 then put these values in equation so, 2x+3y=1.......(1)

then from eq(2) , x=1/4
put x=1/4 in equation(1) so
2×(3/4) +3y=1 then
3/2+3y=1 then y=-1/6
