points A(2,3),B(4,0)lie on line ax+by=1
so points A,B must satisfy the eqn
so
2a+3b=1....(1)
4a + (0)×b=1
a=1/4
put in(1)
2×1/4 + 3b=1
1/2+3b=1
3b=1/2
b=1/6

a=1/4,b=1/6

the points must satisfy the equation ax+by=1 then in point (2,3) ,x=2,y=3 then put these values in equation so, 2x+3y=1.......(1)
11ly in (4,0) value of x=4 ,y=0 then the equation is 4x+0y=1......(2)
then from eq(2) , x=1/4
put x=1/4 in equation(1) so
2×(3/4) +3y=1 then
3/2+3y=1 then y=-1/6

akkipilania34: sorry by mistake i put x=3/4 it is 1/4 then y will 1/6
