Let the number be x
(2/3)x - (3/5)x=1
2x/3-3x/5=1
Take LCM,
LCM is 15
2x/3×5/5 - 3x/5×3/3=1
10x/15-9x/15 = 1
(10x-9x)/15=1
1x=15
x=15
therefore, the number is 15.
