if 2 and -3 are the zeroes of the polynomial x2+ (a+1)x+b, then find the values of a and b

From the equation( x+a) (x+b) =x²+(a+b) x+ab

Here, a+1=2+(-3)

a+1=-1

a=-1-1

a=-2

Here, b=2×-3

=-6
