2 { \cos}^{2}  \theta \:  +  \sin\theta  - 2 = 0 \\  \sin \theta  = 2 - 2 { \cos }^{2}  \theta \\  \sin\theta = 2( \: 1 -  { \cos }^{2}  \theta \: ) \\  \sin \theta = 2 { \sin}^{2}  \theta \\  \frac{ \sin \theta }{ { \sin }^{2}  \theta}  = 2 \\  \frac{1}{ \sin \theta}  = 2 \\  \sin \theta =  \frac{1}{2}  \\  \sin \theta =  \sin(30)  \\ on \: comparing \:  \\  \theta =30
