f(x) = ax² - 3(a - 1)x - 1

Zero = 2 ( given )

Since, 2 is the zero of the polynomial f(x):

=> a(2)² - 3(a-1)×2 - 1 = 0

=> 4a - 6a + 6 - 1 = 0

=> -2a = -5

=> 2a = 5

=> a = 5 ÷ 2

=> a = 5/2
