p(x)=4x^2+2x-5a

=》p(2)=4(2)^2+2(2)-5a
=4(4)+4-5a
20-5a.(expression)

=》20-5a=0(equation)
20=5a
=>a=4.

We know that sum of zeros of a given quadratic equations =. - 1 / 2

Let the other zero be = x

2 + x = - 1 / 2...... equation 1


2x = - 5a /4 ...... equation 2

from 1 and 2

a = 4
