Putting the value 2 in the polynomial we get
P(2)= 2^2-k×2+6=9
=> 4-2k+6=0
2-2k=0
-2k= -2
K= -2+2
K= 0
Hope it helps u!!

as 2is zero of the polynomial
therefore ,
2 * 2-k * 2+6
4-k * 8
4-8k=0
-8k=-4
k=-5+8
k=3
