Given:

p(x) = 2x^2-3x+7a

Zero of polynomial = 2

To Find:

The value of "a" = ?

Solution:

On putting "x = 2" in the above given expression, we get

⇒  2(2)^2-3\times 2+7a=0

⇒  2\times 4-6+7a=0

⇒  8-6+7a=0

⇒  2+7a=0

⇒  7a=-2

⇒  a=-\frac{2}{7}

So that the value of "a" will be "-2/7".
