the formula is (x1+x2)+-(y1-y2)/2 and (y1+y2)-+(x1-x2)/2

Let 3 vertices of equilateral triangle be A,B, and C.
d (A, B )=
 \sqrt{(3 - 0) { }^{2} }  +  \sqrt{ (\sqrt{3 - 0} }) {}^{2}
=
 \sqrt{9 + 3}
=
 \sqrt{12}
=
 \sqrt{4 \times 3}
=
2 \sqrt{3}
Third vertice is
2 \sqrt{3}
