as we know
2(x+3)=4
now we open bracket
so,
2x+6=4
now we take this 6 in opposite lane
2x=4-6
2x=-2
x= -2/2
x = -1

THIS IS THE ANSWET

2(x+3) = 4

2x + 6 = 4

2x = 4 - 6

2x = - 2

x = -2/2

x = -1
