Then,
10 times the no. = 10x
-> 10 less than 10 times the no. = 10x - 10;

Again, 20 added to 8 times the no. = 8x + 20;

According to Question ----->  10x - 10 = 8x + 20
=> 2x = 10 + 20 = 30
=> x = 30/2 = 15

Hence, the no. is 15; ☺
