Given :-

20% of A = B

=> 20/100 x A = B

=> 1/5 x A = B

=> A = 5B - {1}

also ,

40% of B = C

=> 40/100 x B = C

=> 1/2.5 x B = C

=> B = 2.5C - {2}

Adding Eqñ {1} and {2} :-

A + B = 5B + 2.5C

Now , 60% of (A + B) =>

60% of (5B + 2.5C) [ From Eqñ {2} ]

=> 60/100 x (5 x 2.5C + 2.5C)

=> 3/5 x ( 15C )

=> 3/5 x 15C

=> 9C

Hence , 60% of (A + B) = 9C
