GIVEN:

  • (25)^x-1 = 625

TO FIND:

  • The value of x .

SOLUTION:

 \implies \bf \:( 25) ^{x - 1}  = 625

Now Expand 625 as (25)².

 \implies \tt \: (25) ^{x - 1}  = (25) ^{2}

On using x^a = x ^b : a = b we get,

 \implies \tt \: x - 1 = 2 \\  \implies \tt \: x = 3

Hence the value of x is 3.

Some more exponential Identity:

➜ a^n × a^m = a^n+m

➜ a^n ÷ a^m = a^n-m

➜ a° = 1

➜ a^n = 1/a^-n

➜ a^m = a^n = m = n

➜a^n = b^n = a = b

➜(a^m)^n = a^mn
