We have an equation, N1V1 = N2V2 where N1 and N2 are normalities and V1 and V2 the volumes.

NV= number of equivalents= Given mass/equivalent mass.

Equivalent mass= Molas Mass/n factor.

Here, molar mass of Na2CO3= 106gm.

N factor is 2, thus Equivalent mass is 106/2= 53gm.

Thus number of equivalents = 1.06/53= 0.02=N1V1

V1= 0.025

Thus N1= 0.02/0.025=0.8 N
