6 + 2a + b = 6-3a+ b

6+2a+b -6+3a-b = 0

2a+ 3a = 5 a

a= 1/5

sub in second equation

6 -3(1/5)+ b = 6- 3/5+ b

= -27/5

hope it helps you......
