2sin4thrta =1/2

We have to find theta ,

Sin 40 = Sin 30

So , Theta = 15 / 2

SOME BASIC CONCEPT TO LEARN IN TRIGONOMETRY :-

  1. sin (π/2 – A) = cos A & cos (π/2 – A) = sin A
  2. sin (π/2 + A) = cos A & cos (π/2 + A) = – sin A
  3. sin (3π/2 – A) = – cos A & cos (3π/2 – A) = – sin A
  4. sin(x+y) = sin(x)cos(y)+cos(x)sin(y)
  5. cos(x+y) = cos(x)cos(y)–sin(x)sin(y)
  6. tan(x+y) = (tan x + tan y)/ (1−tan x •tan y)
