a=2x-1

A2=2x-3

A3=x+4

If they are in AP then:-

A2-a1=A3-A2

$➩2x - 3 - (2x - 1) = x + 4 - (2x - 3)$

$➩2x - 3 - 2x + 1 = x + 4 - 2x + 6$

$➩ - 2 = - x + 10$

$➩ - 12 = - x$

$➩x = 12✓$
