2x - 2 =4
2x = 2 + 4
2x = 6
x= 3

0.05y = 0.15
y = 0.15 / 0.05
y = 15 / 5
y = 3

y^2 - x^2 = (3)^2 - (3)^2
9 - 9 =0
So , y^2 - x^2 = 0

Given,

2x-2=4

0.05y=0.15

To find,

The value of (y²-x²).

Solution,

The value of (y²-x²) will be 0.

We can easily solve this problem by following the given steps.

According to the question,

2x-2=4

2x = 4+2 ( Moving 2 from the left-hand side to the right-hand side results in the change of the sign from minus to plus.)

2x = 6

x = 6/2 ( 2 was in the multiplication on the left-hand side. So, it is in the division on the right-hand side.)

x = 3

0.05y=0.15

y = 0.15/0.05

y = 3

Now, to find the value of (y²-x²), we will put the values of x and y in this expression.

(y²-x²) = (3)²-(3)²

y²-x² = 9-9

y²-x² = 0

Hence, the value of (y²-x²) is 0.
