2x+3y=1------(1)
x+y/x=3/x----(2)

multiplying equation no.2 by x
x+y=3-------(3)

multiplying equation no.3 by 2
2x+2y=6------(4)

subtracting equation no. 1 from 4
-y=5
y=-5

put y=-5 in equation no.3
x+y=3
x-5=3
x=3+5
x=8

(x,y)=(8,-5) is the soln of given question.

1st equation :

2x+ 3y = 1

2nd equation :

x+y = 3

(as there is x on the both side )

2nd eq × 2

by simultaneous equation

2x + 3y = 1

-2x - 2y = - 6

y = - 5

hence, x = 8

hope it helps!!
