2) 2x-5y-12 = 0--------------------(2)

Subtract eq(1) from eq(2)

2x-5y-12-2x+3y-4 = 0

2y = 16

y = 8

Putting y's value in eq 1

2x-3*8+4 = 0

2x-24+4 = 0

2x = 20

x = 10
