If 2x+3y=9 ; 3x+2y=11 then find x+3y=9 . 3x+2y=11 then find x+y

2x+3y=9. ————eq1. (×3)

3x+2y=11 ————eq 2. (×2)

elimination method.

6x+9y=27

6x+4y=22

(-) (-) (-)

——————— change the sign and eliminate...

5y=5

y=5/5

y=1

substitute y value in equation 1 or 2

here I'm substitute in equation 1

eq 1→2x+3y=9

2x+3(1)=9

2x+3=9

2x=9-3

2x=6

x=6/2

x=3

Then,value for x and y are 3 and 1

To find x+y

x=3

y=1

x+y=3+1

=4
