FIRST , THE TERMS IN QUADRATIC EQUATION FORM I.E
2X-KY-5=0
3X+4Y-7=0

SINCE EQUATION IS PARALLEL

 \frac{a1}{a2 }  =  \frac{b1}{b2}  is \: not \: equal \: to \frac{c1}{c2}
 \frac{2}{3}  =  \frac{k}{4}
cross multiplying
8=3k
8/3=k
