Answer: 2x-y=3. --(1) , x-2y=3. --(2)

BY USING ELIMINATION METHOD.

(2x-y=3)×2= 4x-2y=6

4x-2y=6

-x+2y=-3

_________

3x=3, x =1

Now put this value in --(1)

2x-y=3, 2×(1)-y=3

y = -1

Now, ATQ,

x+y

1+(-1)= 0.
