if 3/5 of number exceeds its 2/7 by 44, find the number.

Let the no= x

(3/5)x+2/7= 44

(3/5)x= 44-2/7

(3/5)x= (308-2)/7

(3/5)x=306/7

x= 306/7*5/3

x= 510/7
