x-3/y-3= 1/2

2x-6=x-3

2x-y=6-3

2x-y=3...............multiply by 6

we get,

12x-6y=18............(1)

x+2/y+2=6/7

7x+14=6x+12

7x-6y= -14+12

7x-6y= -2............(2)

subtracting eq. (2) from (1)

we get,

5x=20

x=4

substituting x=4 in 2x-y=3

2x4 -y=3

8-y=3

-y=3-8

-y = -5

y=5

The greater no. is 5 while the smaller no. is 4
