Answer:

The value is \frac{-8}{ 3}.

Explanation:

Given is 3^{x-1}=9 and 4^{y+2}=64

Find the value of \frac{4}{x}-\frac{x}{y}

Solution:

The given value is 3^{x-1} =9 , 4^{y+2}=64

Now, we take

3^{x-1}=9\\ 3^{x-1}=3^{2}

Compare both side, base are the same.

So,

x-1=2\\x=3\\

Again,

y+2\\4=64\\4^{y+2}=4^3

Compare both sides base are same

So,

y+2=3\\y=1

Now, \frac{4}{x}-\frac{x}{y}

\frac{1}{3}-\frac{3}{1}

\frac{1-9}{3}=\frac{-8}{3}

Hence, the value is \frac{-8}{  3}
