If – 30 + (- y) + 20 = 0, then the value of y is?

-30 - y + 20 = 0

➪ -30 + 20 = y

➪ - 10 = y

– 30 + (- y) + 20 = 0

=> - 30 + 20 (-y) = 0

=> -10 (-y) = 0

=> -y = 10

=> y = -10
