( - 35/81 ) ( 9 / 10 ) = x

( - 7 × 5 × 9 ) / ( 9 × 9 × 5 × 2 ) = x

After cancellation ,

( - 7 ) / 18 = x

Therefore ,

x = -7/18

On cross-multiplication, we get

$\frac{-35 * 9}{81} = 10x$

$\frac{-35}{9} = 10x$

$10x = \frac{-35}{9}$

$x = \frac{-35}{10 * 9}$

$x = \frac{-35}{90}$

$x = -\frac{7}{18}$
