let the strength of the school=x

% of girls = (100-36)%
= 64%

64% of x =816

64/100 × x = 816

64 x = 816 × 100

x = 816 ×100/64

x= 51 ×25
x= 1275

the number of girls is 1275 are in the school.

I think it's helpful for you. thankyou.

Answer:

459

Step-by-step explanation:

girls=x

(100-36)%=64%

now,

64% of x=816

=)  (64x/100)=816

=)  x=(816*100)/64 =1275

so total number of students=1275

number of girls=total students-no of boys=1275-816=459
