If 36 trousers of equal sizes can he stitched with 64 meters if cloth. What is the length of the cloth required for each trouser?

∴Cloth required to stitch each trouser = 64/36

= 16/9 m

= 1.78 m

∴1.78 meters of cloth is required to stitch one trouser.
