a : b : c = 1 : 2 : 1

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, 3a - 2b + c = 0............(i)

           2a + b - 4c = 0...........(ii)

Multiply 2 in equation (ii) then add with equation(i),

4a + 2b - 8c + 3a - 2b + c = 0

=> 7a - 7c = 0

=> a - c = 0

=> a = c...............(iii)

Use equation (iii) in equation(ii),

2a + b - 4c = 0

=> 2c + b - 4c = 0

=> b - 2c = 0

=> b = 2c....................(iv)

So, the relation between a, b and c is a = \frac{b}{2} = c..........(v)

If a = 1, then b = 2 and c = 1

Hence, a : b : c = 1 : 2 : 1
