The radii of two circular ends of a frustum of a cone shaped dustbin are
15 cm and 8 cm. If its depth is 63 cm, find the volume of the dustbin.

Answer: as the dustbin is in the form of frustum

so for frustum:

height (depth) = 63 cm and two radius r1 = 15 cm and r2 = 8 cm

now we have to find the volume of the dustbin

so the formula = 1/3 x π x height x (r1^2+r2^2+r1 x r2)

on putting the given values we get,

=> 1/3 x 22/7 x 63 x (15^2+8^2+15 x 8)

=> 22 x 3 x (225+64+120)

=> 66 x 409

=> 26994 cm^3 = final answer
