Given:

Consider the given equivalent ratios

3a = 5b = 7c

Find:

Continued ratio a:b:c

Solution:

First of all find lcm of 3, 5 and 7

lcm(3, 5, 7) = 3x5x7 = 105

Divide each number by 105

\frac{3a}{105}=\frac{5b}{105} =\frac{7c}{105}

\frac{a}{35}=\frac{b}{21}=\frac{c}{15}

Therefore the continued ratio is a:b:c = 35:21:15

Given :

the equivalent ratio is 3a = 5b = 7c

to find :

the ratio of a:b:c

solution :

we need to find the LCM of 3 , 5 ,  7

lcm(3,5,7) = 3*5*7 = 105

divide each side by 105

\frac{3a}{105}=\frac{5b}{105} =\frac{7c}{105}\\\frac{a}{35}=\frac{b}{21}=\frac{c}{15}

Hence , the ratio of a:b:c = 35:21:15
