Hey mate hope it helps you...

a + 2d = 30

a + 4d = 18

Subtracting the 2 equations we get

-2d = 12

d = -6

a - 12 = 30

a = 42

0 = 42 + (n-1)(-6)

0 = 42-6n + 6

-48 = -6n

n = 8th term.

Therefore 8 th the of AP is 0

\star Question : If 3rd term and the 5th term of an AP are 30 and 18 respectively which term of this AP is 0

\star Answer :

\star 8th term of an AP is 0.

\star Step-by-step explanation :

\star Third Term , a_3=a+2d=30...(1)

\star Fifth Term ,a_5=a+4d=18...(2)

\star Now , Solve (1) - (2) , We get ,

=>(a+2d)-(a+4d)=30-18\\\\=>-2d=12\\\\=>d=-6

\star Now , sub. d=-6 in (1) , we get ,

=>a+2(-6)=30\\\\=>a=30+12\\\\=>a=42

\star Let nth term be ' 0 '.

a+(n-1)d=0\\\\=>42+(n-1)(-6)=0\\\\=>42-6n+6=0\\\\=>7-n+1=0\\\\=>n=8

\star So, 8th of term of an AP is ' 0 '
