3x+18+2x-8 = 180

5x-10 = 180

5x = 180+10

5x = 190

x = 190/5

x = 38

if( 3x+18) and (2x-8) are supplementary then (3x+18) +(2x-8) = 180 then 3x+18+2x-8=180 then 5x+10=180 so 5x=180-10=170 and hence x=170/5 which is equal to 34degree

and therefore x=34degree
