Hey!!!!

__________

Given

=> (3x - 2) is a factor of 3x³ - kx² + 21x - 10

Thus => 3x - 2 = 0

=> x = 2/3 is a Zero of the polynomial

=> 3(2/3)³ - k(2/3)² + 21(2/3) - 10 = 0

=> 3(8/27) - 4k/9 + 14 - 10 = 0

=> 8/9 - 4k/9 + 4 = 0

=> (8 - 4k)/9 = -4

=> 8 - 4k = -36

=> k = 44/4

=> k = 11

____

Hope this helps you

HELLO : )

GIVEN POLYNOMIAL IS 3x³ - kx² + 21x - 10

FACTOR = (3X-2)

(3x-2) = 0 ⇒ x = 2/3

SUBSTITUTING x= 2/3 IN THE POLYNOMIAL

3(2/3)³ - K(2/3)² + 21(2/3) -10 = 0

3(8/27) - k(4/9) + 21(2/3) - 10 = 0

8/9 - k (4/9) + 7(2) - 10 = 0

8/9 + 14 - 10 = k(4/9)

8/9 + 4 = 4k/9

(8+36)/9 = 4k/9

cancelling '9' on both sides.............

44 = 4k

44/4 = k

⇒k= 11
