If (3x-25) ˚ and (x+15) ˚ are complementary angles, find the angles.  ​

Two angles are complementary if the sum of the angles are 90 degrees . So,

3x-25+ x+15 = 90

4x - 10 = 90

4x = 100

x= 25

Thus the angles are,

3x- 25 = 75- 25 = 50 degrees

x + 15 = 25 + 15 = 40 degrees
