if 3x -y=27 and 3x+y=243, then find the value of x?

neerajagoli2303: 3x+y=243-->equation 2
neerajagoli2303: From equation 1 ... y =3x-27lets call this as equation 3
neerajagoli2303: Substitution equation 3 in equation 2
neerajagoli2303: 3x+3x-27=243..==>
neerajagoli2303: 6x=243-27
neerajagoli2303: x =216÷6=36
neerajagoli2303: So substitution x=36 in equation 3
neerajagoli2303: y=3(36)-27=81
neerajagoli2303: So x=36 :y=81
neerajagoli2303: Hope so it's correct..:-)

Heya.....

Here is your answer....

3 x - y = 27                                        1.

3 x + y = 243                                     2.

Subtract 1 from 2,

after subtracting u'll get

y = 108

now put, the value of y in equation 1,

and then u'll get the answer of x which is

x = 45.

Thanks...!!!

XD

Sorry baby 'wink'
