Answer:

There seems to be a mistake in the question

Step-by-step explanation:

because ratio 3:2:1 gives a minimum of 3+2+1=6

and 440 is not divisible by 6

So we can't proceed with the process of solving this sum.

Answer:

Number of 25paise coins =  160

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:- 440 coins consists of 1 rupees, 50paise and 25paise coins.

To Find:- Number of 25paise coins.

Solution:-

Let, Number of 1 rupee coins = a,

Number of 50paise coins = b,

Number of 25paise coins = c,

∴ a + b + c = 440      ------ (1)

Also, 1 × a : \frac{50}{100} × b : \frac{25}{100} × c = 3 : 2 : 1

⇒  a: \frac{b}{2} : \frac{c}{4} = 3 : 2: 1

\frac{a}{3} : \frac{b}{4} : \frac{c}{4} = k(say)

⇒ a = 3k, b=4k, c=4k

∴ 3k + 4k + 4k = 440

⇒ 11k = 440

⇒ k = 40.

∴ Number of 25paise coins = 4 × 40 = 160
