lxnm: ya.......
lxnm: it is (a-b)^2 = a^2+b^2-2ab
lxnm: so,a^2+b^2 = (a-b)^2 + 2ab
lxnm: -2ab goes to LHS.

Hey !!!! Your answer =>

4 {x}^{2}  + 25 {y}^{2}  = 41 \\ xy = 2 \\  \\ ( {2x)}^{2}  + ( {5y)}^{2}  = 41 \\  \\ (2x  -  5y) + 2 \times 2x \times 5y = 41 \\  \\ ( 2x  -  5y)  + 20 \times xy = 41 \\  \\ ( 2x  -  5y)  + 40 = 41 \\  \\ 2x - 5y = 41 - 40 \\  \\ 2x - 5y = 1

Hope it will help you ☆▪☆ Thanks ^_^
