5 {}^{2x}  \times 5  \div 5 {}^{2}  = 5 {}^{3}

5 {}^{2x + 1}  = 5 {}^{5}

cancelling the bases. . ......

2x + 1 = 5 \\  \\ 2x = 4

x =   \frac{4}{2}  = 2

x=2

Hope it helps you

5 {}^{2x + 1}  \div 25 = 125 \\  \frac{5 {}^{2x + 1} }{5 {}^{2} }  = 5 {}^{3}  \\ 5 {}^{2x + 1 - 2}  = 5 {}^{3}  \\ 5 {}^{2x - 1}  = 5 {}^{3}  \\ on \: the \: same \: base \: hence \\ 2x - 1 = 3 \\ 2x = 3 + 1 \\ 2x = 4 \\ x =  \frac{4}{2}  \\ x = 2
