Solution :
> Earnings of 5 men per day
= Rs. 5250
Earnings of 1 man per day
= Rs. 5250 ÷ 5 = Rs. 1050
> Earnings of 7 women per day
= Rs. 5250
Earnings of 1 woman per day
= Rs. 5250 ÷ 7 = Rs. 750
To find :
We have to find the total earnings of 7 men and 13 women per day.
Computations :
Earnings of 7 men per day
= Rs. (7 × 1050) = Rs. 7350
Earnings of 13 women per day
= Rs. (13 × 750) = Rs. 9750
Therefore, the total earnings of 7 men and 13 women per day
= Rs. (7350 + 9750) = Rs. 17100
