Solving both equations we get x = 1050 / 8 – 3y / 2
Substituting the value of we get

30 (1050 / 8) – 30 x 3y / 2 + 42y = 3825
So 15 x 525 / 2 – 45 y + 42 y = 3825
So 3y = 112.5
So y = 37.5
Now x = 75
Therefore 7x + 6y = 750

So 7 men with 6 boys will earn 22500 / 750 = 30 days.
