5^y×20^y=10000
(5×20)^y=10000
100^y=10000
100^y=100²
Comparing both sides we find
y=2

InfinityMS: (2×5)^y=1000
InfinityMS: 10^y=1000
InfinityMS: 10^y=10^2
InfinityMS: So by comparing both sides y=2
InfinityMS: I hope I have solved Ur question
InfinityMS: Okay good luck happy studies
cutipie2: its correct answer is 3 my friend
InfinityMS: Opps sorry that's 10^3 ya so y=3
InfinityMS: I m sorry by mistake I wrote that
cutipie2: okay

According To The Question →

5^y × 20^y = 10000

[So, As we know the rules of exponents ,
aⁿ × bⁿ = (ab)ⁿ]

or, (5×20)^y = 10000

or, 100^y = 10000

or, 100^y = 100^2

[ As , we know rules of exponents -
if, a^m = a^n , then m=n]

or, y = 2

Answer→ Value of y = 2.

cutipie2: can i ask more questions

cutipie2: find x if (256)^1/3=x multiply (4)^1/3
InfinityMS: (256/4)^1/3=x
InfinityMS: So it will be 64^1/3=x
InfinityMS: 64^1/3=4
InfinityMS: So x=4
