Answer:-

Given,

 \sf 5 \sec(x)  - 12 \cosec(x)  = 0

We have to find tan x.

So,

 \sf 5 \sec(x)  - 12 \cosec(x)  = 0

 \sf \implies 5 \sec(x)  = 12 \cosec(x)

 \sf \implies  \frac{5}{12}   = \frac{\cosec(x) }{ \sec(x) }

 \sf \implies  \frac{5}{12}   = \frac{\cos(x) }{ \sin(x) }

 \sf \implies \cot(x)  =  \frac{5}{12}

 \sf \implies \tan(x)  =  \frac{12}{5}

Hence,

 \boxed{ \sf \large \tan(x)  =  \frac{12}{5} }
