If 6 apples cost $3.99 how many apples can you buy for $20

6 apples = 3.99$

Now for 1$ it would be
6/3.99 = 1.50375.

1$ = 1.50375 apple

Multiply 20 on both sides.

=> 1*20 = 1.50375*20

=> 20$ = 30.075187. Is the answer.
