If 6 is added with the tens digit and 4 is added to the unit digit of a two digit number, then the
new number so formed using new digits is 3 times than the original number. The original number is

Answer:

let the original number be

tens. ones

x. y

so, it's value is 10x+y

after adding

tens. ones

x+6. y+4

it's value is (x+6)10 + (y+4)

as per given information

3(10x+y) = 10x + y + 64

=> 2(10x+y) = 64

=> 10x+y = 32

so, the original number is 32

VERIFICATION:-

Original number:- 32

after changes:- (3+6)(2+4) = 96

and new number formed is 3 times of original number [ 32×3 = 96 ]
