Answer:

\large\bold\red{18\;Days}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

6 days is taken by 6 peoples to do a work.

Now,

We have to find,

How many days will be taken by 2 peoples to do that work.

Clearly,

As the number of people decrease, the work load will increase and thus the number of days to complete the work.

Here,

Number of people is now one-third of the inital, i.e, 2 .

Therefore,

The number of days now will be thrice of the inital, i.e, (3×6).

Hence,

18 days is the required answer.

Given :------

  • 6 people do a job in = 6 days .
  • 2 people do in = ? days ..

we know that ,

M1 × D1 = M2 × D2

putting values here we get,

6 × 6 = 2 × D2

D2 = 36/2 = 18 days ..

So, 2 people will take 18 days to complete same work..

OR,

Let 1 people do 1 unit of work each day.

Than 6 people to = 6×1 = 6 unit of work each day .

in 6 days they will do = 6×6 = 36 units of work = Total work..

Now, to do this work we have 2 people .

they will do = 2×1 = 2 units per day .

So, to complete total work they will take = 36/2 = 18 days..

(Hope it helps you)
