6th term = 13

12th term= 25

we can write the 6th term as

a+5d=13

and

12th term as

a+11d=25

subtracting equation 2 from 1

we get Common difference

D=2

putting the value of D in equation1 we get a+5*2=13

a= 13-10=3

therefore the first term A =3

hope it helps you

here given that t6 = 13 and t12 = 25.

and we know that tn = a+ ( n-1) d

putting their values

13= a + (12)d. 1

and

25= a+(24)d . 2

from equation 1 and 2

we get

a = - 46.

and D = 11/12.

but this question is wrong because D never comes in fraction..
