here x is less or equal to7.
so the greatest value of x is 7 (say).
similarly,greatest value of y is 12.
so,y-x=12-7=5.

Answer:

max akue of y=12

minimum value of x=-7

we have to find max value of y-x?

if y=12

x=-7

then

Y-x=12-(-7)=>12+7=19

So answer will be=19
